My friend, my hero, who started a “pushcart classroom” in the Philippines to bring education to poor children as an alternative to gang membership, has been named the 2009 CNN Hero of the Year.
I am so elated and very, very proud of him and his officers and volunteers at Dynamic Teen Company! He’s truly such an inspiration! I love him and his spirit, dedication, perseverance and FAITH!!!
