Last Christmas, Project PEARLS was able to feed and provide Christmas gifts to more than 200 less fortunate children in the Philippines. Thank you to our family, friends, strangers who helped and supported us this holiday season!
We started and founded PROJECT PEARLS in summer 2008. Our humble mission then was just to help and support two sisters (Luz and Desiree) with their educational needs. Luz and Desiree, together with their mother, Tina who is deaf and mute are currently living in the slums way below poverty level. We believe that education is a key to their brighter and better future.
Because we are blessed with supportive family and friends and a job in this gloomy economy, we are able to provide help to more children this year. We have several projects lined up for 2010 that will help improve the lives of the less fortunate children in the Philippines.
